Žigaitytė Audronė, Nekrošienė 1957 01 12 Vilnius, Lithuanian composer, musicologist, pedagogue . Daughter of R. D. Žigaitis. Graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory in 1980 (class of E. Balsis). In 1980–82 she interned at the Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory (composition class of N. Sidelnikov). Since 1983 she has been teaching at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (Lithuanian Conservatory until 1992, Lithuanian Academy of Music from 1992–2004); professor (since 2018). Since 1998 editor-in-chief of the magazine Muzikos barai (with others, since 2007). 2005–07 and 2008–10 director of the Klaipėda Musical Theatre. Since 2010 president of the Lithuanian Musicians' Union. Artistic director of the International Tytuvėnai Summer Festival (since 2005). One of the creators and organizers of the festival "The Great Parade of Musicians" (with R. D. Žigaitis, since 1997). Creator and manager of the international educational concert projects " Let's Play Together in Biržai" (since 2011), "Birštonas Summer Arts Academy" (since 2013).
He has prepared and released more than 100 CDs of academic music by Lithuanian music performers. He has published a collection of articles, Iesokite operos (Search for Opera ) (2013).
