At the end of the concert, the director of Šiauliai Saulius Sondeckis Arts Gymnasium, Dr. Regina Marozienė, who thanked the artistic director of the competition, teacher-expert Nijole Prascevičienė, the concert host Raimonda Sližienė and all the performers for the excellent concert, and presented the monograph of Leonidas Melniks “Maestro Saulius Sondeckis Volumes I and II” to the Head of the Exhibition Department of the Šeduva Jewish History Museum “The Lost Shtetl” and the concert organizer Sandra Petrukonytė. The director noted that this monograph about Professor Saulius Sondeckis and his family must be in this museum, because the S. Sondeckis family helped save Jews during World War II, for which S. Sondeckis’ father Jack Sondeckis was awarded the title of Righteous Among the Nations.
